NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Grand Openings & Ribbon Cutting

The Chamber‘s Grand Opening and Ribbon Cuttings events serve to increase the visibility of the host businesses from the beginning. This benefit includes media coverage of the pre-grand opening and help in preparing press releases. The Chamber supplies ribbon, scissors, signs and contacts. Included with this valuable tool is a follow-up press release with photos on the Chamber website and local news outlets. Further, by inviting other members of the business community to attend your ceremony you greatly enhance the possibility of networking.

Monthly Luncheons

Each month the Chamber hosts a business luncheon where knowledgeable speakers provide business owners with valuable information to help increase profits and productivity. While education is the focus at these sessions, an enjoyable lunch and interaction with other businesses provides networking opportunities.

Business Mixers

These monthly networking events bring together an average of 50-100 individuals, giving the host businesses the opportunity to showcase their services. Tours of the business facility are encouraged. The chamber provides free pre-event publicity giving your business exposure. Besides the obvious business side of business, Business Mixers offer a social aspect that allow for networking opportunities. How well do you know the business owners adjacent to you or across town? New and long-time members are always introduced at Business Mixers. While non-chamber members do not enjoy the same promotional opportunities at the business mixer they are encouraged to attend in hopes they may become members. "Business of the Month," (nominated by the membership) is also announced at Business Mixers. If you are interested in hosting a Business Mixer, please contact the Chambers' Member Services Coordinator at (209) 966-2456 or Email: mariposachamber@sti.net.
